The person behind the systems
Owen's been building since before he could drive. At 12, he launched his first real business — CustomGamingRigs — assembling custom PCs and running a fully functioning e-commerce site to sell them. That early obsession with building things that actually work never went away.
Now 19 and currently studying at Appalachian State University, Owen splits his time between coursework and shipping production systems for real clients. He built ShopGrasshopper — his mom's salon-grade hair care brand — from scratch so she could showcase and sell product online. He did the same for his friend Andrew's company, 704 Pressure Washing, turning a local service business into a lead-generating machine. Those early projects became the proving ground for everything Stranex does today.
Owen writes code himself and ships fast using tools like Firebase, AWS, Netlify, and Claude Code for rapid automation. He's an engineer at heart — whether it's deploying cloud functions, wiring up AI-powered quote systems, or just building something with his hands. Off the clock, you'll find him on a tennis court or tearing apart his next side project.
He founded Stranex with a simple belief: small businesses deserve the same automated growth systems that enterprise companies pay six figures for. The gap shouldn't exist — and he's closing it.
